Sri Laxmi Ganna has joined Silicon Integration Initiative, a not-for-profit membership corporation that plays a crucial role in providing users and suppliers from semiconductor corporations, institutions, and academia with access to shared technical solutions.
Leigh Anne Clevenger, vice president of Technology, said Ganna, with her academic and industry experience, will focus on several Si2 projects. “These include the Si2 Unified Power and Thermal Coalition proof-of-concept demonstrations, which are a testament to the collective effort and collaboration of industry members Qualcomm, Samsung, and NXP Semiconductors,” Clevenger explained. Ganna will also run Si2 software to demonstrate proposed IEEE 2416 Power Modeling standard updates.
Ganna holds a master’s in Electrical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University. Before pursuing her graduate studies, she gained valuable experience as a software development engineer at Advanced Micro Devices.
