The OpenAccess Scripting API, known throughout the industry as oaScript, was last released as version 5.0 to support the OpenAccess Reference Implementation Data Model Six changes. Since then, the oaScript development team has reported and fixed seven bugs/enhancements. These changes are included in the oaScript 5.1 release, which is compatible with OpenAccess 22.60 and 22.61 versions.
The oaScript 5.1 release enables the team to begin work on oaScript 6.0, which will include support for OpenAccess 22.62 (coming soon) as well as some changes to support the OpenAccess platform Matrix upgrades (RHEL 8, gcc 12, etc.).
